I’m the founder of Be Yoga Sussex and creator of SYRN. Drawing on 16 years of yoga therapy experience, I designed this method to help you find real rest, deep resilience, and a calm, steady nervous system.
As a yoga therapist, I’ve long been fascinated by how movement and stillness influence our physiology. SYRN blends Somatics, Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra in a precise sequence that supports the regulation of the autonomic nervous system — shifting the body from sympathetic “fight or flight” into parasympathetic “rest and digest.”
Through gentle movement and extended stillness, SYRN stimulates the vagus nerve, increases vagal tone, and improves heart-rate variability — key indicators of a resilient nervous system. This process reduces stress hormones, enhances recovery, supports digestion, and improves sleep quality.
